In Week Six you will consider the evaluation and measurement of KM.  In addition to the Week Six Module in the Course Content Area, two other pieces of information are provided for your critical analysis.  First, the Navy KM Metrics document is attached.  Second, the Value-driven Framework for K-Evaluation (K-intensive products and services) is illustrated below.  There are four pathways: Social, Organizational, Personal, and Financial. The metrics or measures for each pathway depend on the four perspectives: Social=Customer; Organizational=Management; Personal=Knowledge Worker and KITs; and Financial =Stakeholders.
 
Consider a product or service from the Bank of Knowledge Assets or from a project you have worked on for this class. Describe the product or service you have selected. Identify the perspective and the metrics for your selected pathway. Finally, share with two metrics you would use to evaluate the product or service. Your classmates can respond with another pathway.  For those of you wanting to “reach”, you can elect to apply one of the KM Navy Metrics to your product, service or organization’s KM efforts. ONLY ONE PRIMARY POST AND ONE RESPONSE IS REQUIRED IN THIS CONFERENCE DISCUSSION.  (Exceptional work is always encouraged!)
